How do you see Jesus as the self-stated one and only “Son of God”? He says he is the “way, the truth, and the life” and that NO ONE can come to the father except through him. Even the Buddha explained our need for the “Christ consciousness” because we need a “god” we can touch, hear and feel. Saints cannot save us but they direct us towards the God of the universe who is found in Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. That same Holy Spirit in us confirms the authority of Jesus and the Father to whom we are reconciled only through the shed blood of the Christ. We are fatally flawed and separated from the perfection of the Father and Jesus is the only way to be healed and reunited.

Only that which is born (a body) is going to die. We are God’s “children”—unborn, immortal souls formed of the stuff of our Father, incapable of death. So, in reality, how can we be “fatally flawed”? This confusing our ego and bodily attributes (along with the errors we make with them) for our true nature is the root cause of ignorance and the source of misery. We are not human beings who possess a soul. Rather, we are souls who possess a human body. When the cement of our ignorance is chiseled away through sacrifice, self-surrender, and purification, we see God within and without just as the Bible promises, i.e., “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

I looked all over the internet to find a biblical reference where Jesus himself stated he was the ONLY Son of God. Couldn’t find it anywhere. This “creed” and that “apostle” said so, but not Jesus, so it is not “self-stated” as you claim. In fact, Jesus called us his brothers and sisters, did he not? Claim your rightful kinship! However, he did say that “no one comes to the Father except through Me” and that is “the way, the truth and the life.” How to reconcile these statements?

Imagine, if you will, a human form (Jesus) FILLED to the brim with pure consciousness (called Christ in English, Krishna in Sanskrit, Allah in Aramaic, Buddha, etc., all the holy Names) and FULLY aware of that consciousness. When there is no ego (I-ness, the false sense of the small self) only Self remains. Ego can never claim identity with the Father as being “one with and the same as” but soul can. The realization of Christ-consciousness, or Krishna- or Allah- or Buddha-consciousness, is the “Me” doorway to which Jesus refers. He was completely identified with his Christ-consciousness (which probably was called Yahweh-consciousness B.C. :-)) as God through him spoke those words.

When Father invisibly possesses a soul in its entirety, He speaks through, performs miracles through, teaches through that soul using its form. But those exalted, blessed souls never say, “I did it,” do they? Never. They know Father does it. They know that Truth existed before their birth, exists while they are here, and will exist after their bodies are gone. Likewise, the reunion of our soul in embrace with Heavenly Father through discovering and realizing its own indwelling Christ-consciousness is forever and ever.

Lastly, I simply must say that Christians who say “Jesus is the only way” do our beloved Father a huge disservice. Mankind has been stomping around in the dark spiritually for tens of thousands of years. Heavenly Father would not have waited (and did not wait) until only two thousand years ago to send relief. The thought is painful and preposterous. If you could say, “Christ is the only way” and allowed for other languages (other Names for the same principle), I could high-five your hand and be on my way.
